OUR DOWTOWN FIELDTRIP!!!!

When we went to the field-trip we learned many things about our country. Some of the monuments we saw were connected to our inquiry because part of our identity is related on how Colombia got independent from Spain, for example, when the Colombian guy broke the flower vase and the independence came to Colombia. In this field-trip we also saw the Emerald Museum and we found all the emeralds they got from  the mines and the importance it has for Colombia´s identity.

In other teams we visited the Santa Clara´s Museum. It was really interesting due to all what we learnt. For example we learnt about the way religión had an important place in our society long ago. Rights were not the same for all people and girls for example, couldn´t decide what to be in life because their parents did it by them. Instead, boys could go school, learnt, took their own choices.  It was so unfair because finally girls weren´t WHO THEY WANTED TO BE.

Finally we visited the Typical Dresses´ Museum, in which  there were many clothes people wore in the past.  We noticed dresses also made part of our identity because it talks about our country and the place we live in. It is also very connected to our cultural traditions.

At the end for showing what we did we did a monument with a reflection on it. For showing you what wedid we will show you someof the best Works we did. And here they are:
